Day 5 - Post-Test, Presentation of Video Promotion and Blogging Turorials

Day five was unfortunate for me because I had a fever, I was not able to attend the class. My classmate told me that they did a post-test exam and a blogging tutorial and lastly they have a presentation in video promotion. But luckily I have an internet in our house so I just do research on how to make blog there are tons of information about it and tips from expert on how to make great blog for your audience.

I believe that blogging makes you a better in the future. There are lots of advantages/benefits in making a blog site and even a part time job.

Day 4 - Photoshop Tutorial and In Design Tutorial

An image editing software developed and manufactured by Adobe Systems Inc. Photoshop is considered one of the leaders in photo editing software. It can manipulate, crop, resize, and correct color on digital photos. For me I have an idea about this software but I seldom use this software for my work but I learned that it would help me in my other work/activities like presenting land development areas, that is why I downloaded some tutorials in Lynda.com for more in-depth learning

And by afternoon a more advance software introduce Adobe InDesign, a software that can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, and books. Our professor teach us to make a magazine for our project. I think this activity is the hardest of all because I don't have experience making magazine luckily our professor told us that it will be partner. it eases the work by brainstorming a make our magazine look nice. This new software in my sleeve will help me in the future I don't know when but it will  be useful.

Day 3 - Wondershare Tuturial and Video Presentation

In our morning session we had a Wondershare tutorial,  a professional quiz software builder that lets you create and manage your quiz or survey, and track the results. We make some question such as multiple choice, true or false, multiple response, fill in the blanks, matching type and sequence type.Its a great software for teacher as well as to the in our office we could make quiz for the new applicant, that would be efficient for our Human Resource Department. I think Wondershare well help me in my future research subject it can make automated survey.

By afternoon we had to present our previous activity, a video presentation made in MS power-point. All my classmate are entertained because all videos are presented, I learned a lot in some videos like tips in making videos like in the sounds, the timing, and the delivery of the text with pictures. Again this day will help me in my future work and even in my studies.   

Day 2 - Pre-Test, Microsft Office Excel and Microsoft Office PowerPoint to Video Tutorial

Another day to learn new things in computer laboratory. In our day two of MA-106 we had a pre-test exam about computer. Our professor used computer software called wonder share that create questionnaire in a computer. We had a good score about the test because all are familiar about computer and information technology. 

After that we had a review about Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet developed by Microsoft . It features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming language called Visual Basic for Applications. A very useful software in my profession as an engineer that needs automated calculation for various projects.

By Afternoon we had a tutorial in Microsoft PowerPoint a software package designed to create electronic presentations consisting of a series of separate pages or slides. Tutorial on how to convert a power point file into video presentation. It was funny about the tutorial because almost all of us didn't know that power point can make video presentation even we are familiar with this software. This feature will aid us in presenting some of our agency's programs to the public, a more understandable and automatic presentation to the people.

Day 1 - Introduction and Microsoft Office Word Tutorial

Even if your familiar with computer, learning the basic is important. The morning session in our first day was very exciting, anything about computer related topics interest me. Introduction in MA-106 tells about the importance of information technology, the advantages of it and disadvantages. I learn a lot especially some disadvantages like unemployment, some of function or work done by humans can easily undertake computer with ease, with no supervision and especially no break. A very good for productivity of some businesses  using computer yet some of people will have no work.

By afternoon we tackle in Microsoft Word a graphical word processing program that users can type with. It is made by the computer company Microsoft. The purpose of the MS Word is to allow the users to type and save documents. In today's time I think almost all personal computer user have this software for productivity purposes. It helps a lot of business in documentations.

In the Computer laboratory our professor teach us some helpful tips and tricks about MS Word. I was amaze in some commands because I didn't know the tricks. Even I am expose in computer especially MS Word software it will help me a lot in my future works in making documents. It is really nice to have a sort of review in some application in computer for us to be more productive in our work.
